Pet Peeves of Women Over 50...

I shared this with Eve already and was wondering if others felt the same: WHY DO SHAPEWEAR MANUFACTURERS ALWAYS USE SKINNY MODELS IN THEIR ADS???? Whenever I see a print ad or a tv ad, they always show a girdle on SKINNY WOMEN!!!! I do understand their reasoning, but come on!!!! I guess I'm the stupid one because I have a drawer-full of 'under garments' that I bought thinking that there was even the slightest, most REMOTE chance that I'd look like the women in the ad. But that's ok - some day the 'ad' women will be my age and thinking the same thing- I hope.

ya, i feel the same way. what are they thinking. i use to think men designed bras, for real! most bras are not comfortable. one more thing, this just happened to me. you go to the doctor and you are having your check up, every time someone will walk in. never fails!! the door wide open! what the HEY!

Don't get me started on shape wear, what it's moving has to go somewhere doesn't it....all I know is when I put it on I suddenly lose my neck. All I need is to shave my head and I'll look like Uncle Fester
