WILL AND KATE OATMEAL RAISIN COOKIES

Now.... if you look really close, you can see the faces of Will and Kate in my oatmeal raisin cookies. I swear, they look exactly like them. It may be like finding Waldo, but I know they are in there. LOL!

Has everyone seen all the kitsch that is being sold? My favorite are these Will and Kate tea bags . A perfect match for enjoying the Will and Kate Oatmeal Raisin Cookies. Just dunk them in their laps and have a royal good time.

There is also a Will and Kate cake, actually... Will looks more like a waxed version of Harrison Ford. I think they need to work on that a bit.…

POP THIS IN YOUR MOUTH AND HOP INTO SPRING!

Posted on March 17, 2011 at 2:30am 3 Comments

I could have saved this for the 4th of July, but what kind of Babe would I be if I didn't share this right away?!

I've been on daily excursions to Wegmans super market in search of exotic pairings along with garnishments for the tequila drinks I've been working on. I stumbled on this. Whoa!!!!!  It's insane.

If you like chocolate with a little spice... hunt this down. A perfect surprise for your senses. The hell with those chocolate eggs, put a bar or two of this in your honey bunny's basket.

As quoted on the back of this package from Chuao Chocolatier "The Firecracker bar combines our premium dark chocolate blend with popping candy and spices for an explosion of…

I'M EATING SOME PARSLEY FOR MY PADDY PAHTY!

Posted on March 10, 2011 at 9:30pm 0 Comments

Why the hell not? It's green! I personally prefer eating green things in general.

I don't know why, especially on St.Paddy's Day that everyone has to have corned beef and cabbage.

Just because it is "the" typical Irish meal... there really isn't anything green about it.

The cabbage never looks like ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

true green... more of a milky green. Don't get me wrong, I do

enjoy it. But I don't find it necessary to have it on that particular day. Everyone wears green, why not eat green? Do you think St Paddy was chasing snakes out of a cows ass? Hell no... he was running through the GREEN pastures in Ireland.

See this beautiful parsley? I grew it in my garden last year. Just so happened, I chased some snakes out of it too. Not only that, this plant survived the unbelievable winter we had this year. A little limp... but still green. I think it's a Saint in it's own right and…

PUT THIS TEQUILA ON YOUR BUCKET LIST

Posted on March 3, 2011 at 5:42pm 0 Comments

I was recently asked to come up with recipes using this new tequila that is going to explode in the market. 2012 Luna Nueva! The tequila is outstanding. If any of you babes are tequila drinkers, you probably order Patron. The pallet on this is beyond the big poppy and it will be much easier on your poppy book.

Not only is this tequila exceptional, the concept of the name takes this another step further. According to the Mayan Calendar, the world is going to end 12/21/ 2012. The Mayans were the best mathematicians and astronomers of their time. For them, life was cyclical and everything begins and ends with recurring cycles. The last cycle…

Meet Amy Casale

I stem from a long line of Italian culinary aficionados. I was born between lunch and dinner and dropped at the stove at a very early age. So, my culinary education was "on the job" training. Having worked at various restaurants and organizations in NYC and catering in LA, I now reside in Bucks County, PA where I teach privately. I am also working on my first cookbook entitled; "KISS MY BRACIOLA GOODBYE." (A Woman's Guide to Cooking Through Divorce)

My motto is: "Eating should always be a party in your mouth." So, every week I will offer you a recipe that is a culinary orgasm of gastronomic delight.

However, everyone's tastes are different. If you feel a dish needs something, don't be afraid to change it up and make it your own. Keep me posted on how you tweaked your taste buds with these creations.
Buon Appetito!

Ciao Amy -- I grew up in Philly and LOVE Sicily -- some of the best gelato I ever tasted was in Noto. At my restaurant www.viavanti.com we made an orgasmic burger -- the Lamburgini (ground lamb with Gorgonzola butter with rocket on crusty ciabatta!
