STAYING ALIVE!

Won't Be Any Fun If We're Not Here To Enjoy It

Ok so all of a sudden we've caught on we're mortal. Hate that.
There are so many individual body parts to worry about these days!
Holy Cannoli!

Just trying to keep our heads on straight to be able to process all that we're supposed to be doing for our health and and sanity, has become another job.

And the real kicker is...

We keep forgetting what it is we're supposed to remember!

Hope the information and tips here help a little

Say ALOE To One Dumb Sunburn Solution

Posted on May 29, 2012 at 8:08am 0 Comments

Hey There Sunshine, Did You Have A Nice Weekend? Some Babes Have 'Challenged Memories' About What Happens When You 'Push It' On Your First Exposure To The Sun. Say Aloe to one natural solution to calm the burn.

ALOE VERA GEL!

  Quick and Natural Sunburn Relief

After a bad sunburn the application of aloe vera gel can provide not only relief from the burn itself, but also create a powerful healing compound on the surface of the skin. This gel contains anti-inflammatory substances that work as well as the most potent anti-bacterial creams on the market. Applying aloe also relieves some of the pain following a burn. Aloe can be used by cutting open an individual leaf and rubbing the gel-like substance inside it directly to the burned area.

Startling News! You CAN Get Fat In Three Hours

Posted on May 14, 2012 at 8:56am 0 Comments

It's Not Your Imagination, You CAN Get Fat In Three Hours.

According to startling (or not so startling if you've seen this happen right before your eyes) new research from scientists at Oxford University, an average person eating a big meal can add the equivalent of 2-3 teaspoons of fat to their bodies in a lot less time than was previously thought. (Like before you get to valet parking.)

The findings change the previous understanding that the process was much slower —with the fat going first into the blood system for use by the muscles. (Pretty big misunderstanding making us all think we were nuts)

"We found that, after eating a meal, the first fat from it enters the blood about an hour later," Fredrik Karpe, professor of…

What the Trek? Typing While You Walk?

Posted on May 6, 2012 at 1:00pm 2 Comments

New research published in the May 2012 Issue of the Mayo Clinic Proceedings has reported a decrease in the likelihood of memory loss in older adults who regularly exercise and use the computer. It's suggested you do both at the same time? We suppose classes on 'typing while you walk' will now start to spring up.

Imagine yourself working from this TrekDesk. Can one also text and trek? Not sure.

Researchers said that exercising and using a computer at the same time were found to preserve memory function more than exercise or computer use by themselves. Researchers just kill ya don't they?

We at…

A Cookie Could Be Good for You? WhoNu?

Posted on May 1, 2012 at 12:30am 0 Comments

When you lay down on the couch with this box of cookies you will not finish the whole box. In fact, you might be done after only one or two. 'WhoNu?'

We think the creators of 'WhoNu?' knew when they stuck fiber and other healthy stuff in there. Pretty sure it's the fiber in the cookie that fills you up and shuts down your desire to knock off the entire package. This is HUGE news for cookie addicts.

WhoNu? cookies are  rich in calcium, iron and vitamins A, B, C, D and E and also have 3 grams of fiber (as much as a bowl of oatmeal)  and a total of 20 essential vitamins and minerals.

Of course we asked this question we knew would be on your…
