A man wakes up in the hospital bandaged from head to foot. The doctor comes in and says, "Ah, I see you've regained consciousness. Now you probably won't remember, but you were in a huge pile-up on the freeway. You're going to be ok, you'll walk again and everything, BUT your penis was severed in the accident and we couldn't find it."
The man groans, but the doctor goes on, "You've got $9000 in insurancecompensation coming and we now have the technology to build a newpenis.… Continue

If you haven't been out on a date in awhile, or you are dating and so far it's no fun, take a look at a very interesting, handy-dandy guide to help you not muddle through this process that's available as a download on your phone. Yes, it's an "app" and I wrote and designed it myself with all my single gal friends in mind.
Why? Because I got so incensed listening to all the crazy things they went… Continue

I for one will be glad when this Mercury retrograde b******* is over. This is the third time that I am writing this horoscope page because even though I hit the Publish Post
button all of my writing disappeared. It freaks me out to know that I lost approximately 1500 words TWICE
for a grand total of 3000 words. Maybe we are just supposed to wing it this week and give the stars and the planets… Continue

Multitasking On A Treadmill Is Only Dangerous If You Get Hurt.
I was reading the NY Post on my treadmill at 3.8mph at a 4% grade. Some people could NEVER read and walk, for me it's the only way I can take it. It was my first gym attempt to get back to walking since my mother passed 3 weeks ago so suffice to say I was not quite all there mentally.I was workin a pretty good sweat, alternating… Continue

Wow, there are some nice looking zucchini out there and they look like they are happy to see me. Not as happy as I am to see them. These long, firm, tender wonders are a delicate delight and loaded with vitamins A and C. Makes you want to go down… to your local farmer’s market and pick up a few. Who knows, maybe your local farmer will have a nice cucuza
and you’ll want to pick him up too!!!
Let us fellow… Continue

This is the week of the Full Moon which will be in the sign of sensitive, mystical Pisces. The current Mercury retrograde which is opposing the Moon calls for us to be extra cautious because our thinking may be fuzzy at times ( Doesn't that usually happen after a hot date, hot toddy or hot flash too? Ugh!) Once the Moon enters Aries on Thursday of this week, we will feel our energy rise to the occasion and our desire for action returns. Wonder if the men in our lives will… Continue

For those of you who went searching earlier, I'm a bit late with my post. That's because it's late August and it took me 'til 4:00 p.m. to realize it's Friday and my StillABabe post is due. It's the time of year when all days of the week run together because even if your body is not actually on vacation, your mind says you are.
This blog is supposed to be about sex, but truth to tell, I find a lot of things sexy. I love the smell of hot salted skin baked on the beach under the sun. I… Continue

Every now and then I come across different vinegars I can’t live without. My cabinet is stocked with at least a dozen or so various vinegars. Each one contains a unique flavor and all have many uses. Vinegar snaps your taste buds into merriment. I use some sort of vinegar almost every night, whether it be cooking, dressings, marinades, washing my floor and windows… or cleansing the pink. It is an acid that I could drop at a moment’s notice to enhance a flavor or rid a stink. A mere… Continue

At a Senior Citizen's luncheon, an elderly gentleman and an elderly lady struck up a conversation and discovered that they both loved to fish. Since both of them were widowed, they decided to go fishing together the next day.
The gentleman picked the lady up, and they headed to the river to his fishing boat and started out on their adventure.
They were riding down the river when there was a fork in the river, and the gentleman asked the lady, 'Do you want to go up or… Continue

Wow, is all I can say. My Mother died on August 6th, and I am still in shock. The heartache is incredibly loud. I have not been able to write until now.
Eileen Nigro, my cute babe of a Mom... who ate right, exercised, was never sick and barely took an Advil, died within 7 months of complaining of what we first thought was back pain from a fall. Instead a gruesome blood cancer called multiple myeloma discovered at 'third stage', ripped… Continue

This week Mercury will go retrograde starting on August 20TH. Keep a look out for miscommunications and a tendency to be a "know it all." Some Babes may lose their cool when dealing with someone who is "the answer to the question that nobody asked."
Think things over carefully before making any big decisions or changes in your life. The past usually returns during Mercury retrograde periods and bumping into old friends and lovers is… Continue

Thank you, Christina Hendricks, for making big girls feel good about their curves.
The star of the hit AMC series, "Mad Men," has been giving interviews everywhere. This month she's gracing the cover of a many magazines, and tidbits about what she eats, her new marriage, her exercise regime, the fact that she was once a skinny model, can be found all over the internet. I've read the secret to her gorgeous complexion (no sun at all and slathering herself with olive oil instead of pricey… Continue

It’s August and my basil has grown way past my woo hoo. Although nothing could be finer than basil in my … garden. The time has come for a basil Brazilian! If I don’t cut it back now, the stems will become woody and the leaves will be limply. What’s a Babe to do with that kind of “Basilico?” Sure doesn’t stand up to what it should be. Gotta take care of these plants before they become too old to enjoy!!!… Continue

A father put his 3 year old daughter to bed, told her a story and listened to her prayers which ended by saying: "God bless Mommy, God bless Daddy, God bless Grandma and goodbye Grandpa." Continue
The father asked, "Why did you say goodbye Grandpa?" The little girl said, "I don't know daddy, it just seemed like the thing to do."
The next day grandpa died. The father thought it was a strange coincidence.
A few months later the father put the girl to bed and listened to her…

Dutch-born Xaviera Hollander didn't invent sex, although millions thought she did. The author of "The Happy Hooker," published in 1971, was heralded for her humor, her honesty and her candid outlook on sex. Hollander began her long writing career in Australia where she was a copywriter for J. Walter Thompson, era the "Mad Men," thing. After arriving in America, she became secretary to the Dutch consul and later the Belgian ambassador. When her romantic liaisons with probably both of these guys… Continue
