DATING 101

If you haven't been out on a date in awhile, or you are dating and so far it's no fun, take a look at a very interesting, handy-dandy guide to help you not muddle through this process that's available as a download on your phone.

Yes, it's an "app" and I wrote and designed it myself with all my single gal friends in mind. Why? Because I got so incensed listening to all the crazy things they went through on a first date with a guy, that I decided they really needed help!

Just as your phone can now be your GPS system, "The Craft: First Meet" is a GPS to meeting a guy for the first time. Maybe you just met while standing on line at the supermarket. Maybe you met at traffic court! Maybe you "met" on line on Match.com or StupidCupid and now for the first time, you're meeting in the flesh.

The point of the app, which is funny (you'll like it even if you're not on a date) is to help you figure out what kind of guy you're dealing with, whether or not it's worth dealing with him, or if you're better off going home to bed. Alone. Or not.

"The Craft" also tells you how to suss out a guy to determine if he's really married and just hoping to cheat on his wife, if he's broke, if he's a liar, how to read his body language, figure out if he's a psycho, a control freak, or some other kind of nut. It also will help you not just be swayed by a full head of hair or tons of charisma or any other pheromone-induced coma you may fall under just because you think the guy is hot. Just because they think a guy is handsome or sexy looking or something about him rings their bell, many middle aged women strangely regress to teenage girl starry eyed love sickness, believe it or not.

"The Craft: First Meet" is free right now on Palm and Android; it's a couple of bucks at the Apple App Store. Hopefully it will be available on Blackberry soon, and I think if you have iTunes, you can download it that way as well.
