JACK LALANNE DIES AT 96 BUT HIS MESSAGE LIVES ON - "INACTIVITY IS THE KILLER AND IT'S NEVER TOO LATE"

Jack LaLanne Has Passed Away At The Age Of 96 At His Home In  California Of  Respiratory Failure Due To Pneumonia. We Thought He Would Never Die.  We Will Miss Him. He Has Been An Inspiration To The World.

A pioneer of the highest order in the world of health and fitness, Jack showed us all by example from the first leg lifts holding on to a folding chair on our black and white TV's, until the very end, how we should be taking care of our bodies.

Most important he taught us age is just a number!

"I never think of my age, never," LaLanne said in 1990. "I could be 20 or 100. I never think about it, I'm just me. Look at Bob Hope, George Burns. They're more productive than they've ever been in their whole lives right now."

Jack's message must live on. He said,"The only way you can hurt the body is not use it," "Inactivity is the killer and, remember, it's never too late."

Right Amy... we need to at the very least to just 'show up' and do something....Yes to be able to tie our shoes but first and foremost so we can continue to bend low enough to find them in the closet

God Bless You Jack! I always keep moving... I move my fat ass to the gym so that I can move it in the kitchen.

Exercise should be incorporated as a daily function so we can all keep moving. That is key. Not to be obsessed with being thin, just be conscious of our bodies as we age and embrace ourselves in the process. Let's all breathe as we tie our shoes... and then some!
