Detroit Style Pizza Co. created this gorgeous pizza with love so those with celiac disease and gluten sensitivity can finally enjoy real pizza flavor and texture.

World Champion Pizza Maker Shawn Randazzo was inspired to craft the recipe after his wife, Keri, was diagnosed with celiac disease in January 2012.

“Most of the gluten-free pizzas we tried were made with the frozen pizza crust shells sold in bulk by vendors. They have super-thin crusts that are dry and bland, like eating crackers. They make your teeth squeak. Worst of all, they're practically flavorless,” said Randazzo. “I wanted to create a gluten-free pizza recipe that we loved and would be proud to share with others.”
