Times Change. People Change.Traditions Fade. As time Goes On What Used To Be Just isn't Anymore. But people love to be part of something that happens every year. Jan's Annual "Hootenanny" known as 'The Hoot' is a perfect example!

The 5th Annual Hoot was this past weekend! Created and hosted by Jan Ring and Patsy O'Connor "The Annual Hoot" held in Larchmont, N.Y. features a their three long time musician gal pals, Jan Grantz, Marilyn Musumeci, and Denise Debrocke seen here, playing three sets of songs that everybody sings along to in their backyard while drinking and eating.

Simple and fun!

They make up a yearly Hootenanny Song List book, with the words to all the songs.

Amazing how many songs you've heard for years and years and STILL don't know all the words to.

They put up a tent, stock the bar, cater great food, invite great people and pray for good weather. People Come From Everywhere.

This year a storm blew through in the middle (thus the band in the garage) but the food tent had flaps and everybody had a ball.

Every year new people seem to find their way over to join in and add to the fun.

Lot's of Good Vibes.

Needless to say the singing increases as the bar depletes. Truly a HOOT. Yeah Yeah Yeah Yeah Yeah! YEAH YEAH YEAH YEAH YEAH!
